Therefore, there is a strong orientation in the company towards environmentally friendly and sustainable work. How does this work? Around 70% of the energy demand is covered by the company’s own hydroelectric power plant and photovoltaic system, wood waste is thermally recycled and only wood from sustainable forestry is used. Green management is not just a term for this traditional company, it is a living reality.

Awarded for more sustainability
This is why VOGLAUER was recently awarded the “umwelt blatt salzburg2022”. And rightly so: the furniture manufacturer VOGLAUER saves more than 4.6 million kilowatt hours of heating energy per year by using waste heat, renovating roofs and windows, replacing boilers and implementing other efficiency measures. But climate-friendly mobility is also a high priority at the Abtenau-based company with more than 400 employees.
