Nature Hotel Chesa Valisa****s: vacation without compromise: Is that possible?

Shouldn’t the vacation season be the most beautiful time of the year? But far too often, one is already with the vacation planning in despair and one asks oneself quickly: “How should that be only in the vacation? Whether as a couple or family, it is always important to somehow satisfy everyone and in the end, someone with the needs or desires somehow falls by the wayside. But please, it doesn’t have to be like that on your next vacation! We take a look at the most beautiful dead end in the world. To Vorarlberg in Kleinwalsertal, there is the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa****s at 1,200 meters, a climate-neutral BIO hotel run in the 14th generation.

Relaxing without compromise

The parent house was already built in 1507. A historical background that flows into the hotel philosophy. The Kessler family has created a special place here. Built in sustainable Vorarlberg timber construction, natural wood, natural materials and clear shapes and lines give guests a unique sense of well-being. Embedded in nature, you leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.

Let go: In the AlpinSPA. While swimming in the heated outdoor pool, filled with our own spring water. During a sauna session in the Finnish sauna with a panoramic view of nature. During an Abhyanga, a full-body herbal oil massage according to Ayurvedic tradition. Those who place themselves in the hands of the AlpinSPA therapists and the Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Dinu from Kerala can feel the difference between superficial “stroking wellness” and holistic treatments; here you can experience what it means when wellness delivers what it promises: genuine well-being. In addition to a diverse range of massages, the AlpinSPA’s focus is on Ayurvedic treatments, which can be booked individually or as various pampering packages, such as a Panchakarma cure.

As part of the active program, a yoga class is held at least three times a day to bring the “I” back into balance. The light-flooded, spacious yoga rooms of the Naturhotel offer a protected setting for the light to intensive sessions. The seven Yogatrainer:innen specialized in different Yoga styles, so one finds out, which form fits best. The 20,000 m² of free surrounding land offers enough space to unfold oneself and to pause for a while among the blossoming mountain flowers or to walk through the crunching fresh snow in winter to boost the circulation once again.

Enjoying without compromise

In the first climate-neutral BIO hotel in Voralberg, you can enjoy not only the peace and quiet, but also the award-winning cuisine. Indulgence and quality are written large here. The products used are from 100% certified organic cultivation. You can taste that. Far beyond the valley, the hand-picked Austrian wines and the very good organic cuisine are well known. Recently, the kitchen was awarded a hood by the culinary guide Gault&Millau. Guests are served refined dishes from traditional, Ayurvedic or vegan cuisine paired with Austrian classics. The Kessler family addresses the issue of sustainability at all levels, which is why the Naturhotel offers a Green Day. One evening a week, neither meat nor fish are served.

Outdoor without compromise

Tension and relaxation in balance? After the pleasure comes the activity. A vacation in Kleinwalsertal is without compromise, here there is no “either or”, but only “both and”! In summer, guests start directly from the hotel door into the hiking paradise. A remarkable 185 kilometers of marked hiking trails lead through the Kleinwalsertal valley – sometimes high up to steep peaks, sometimes gently to cozy alps and mountain huts. The trails stretch across three altitudes between 1,086 m and 2,533 m. The panoramic view is tremendous and not only from the summit.

Those who prefer to explore the valley on two wheels can rent an e-bike from the hotel and leave the daily grind behind on their bike. Climbing, via ferrata, trail running or canyoning are also very popular. But not only the summer has it in itself, also the winter activities can be seen. Directly from the hotel you can go to the ski slopes. To choose from – 130 kilometers of slopes in the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal ski area. Off the slopes, winter fairy tales come true when snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or winter hiking. These are once ingenious conditions for a relaxing vacation without compromise.
