Austria’s most prestigious fashion prizes honor innovation, responsibility and the country’s most promising design talents.
On 12 November 2025, the Austrian Fashion Association invites to the gala of the Austrian Fashion Awards, hosted in a striking venue in Vienna’s 15th district. The evening will see the presentation of the Fashion Award of the City of Vienna and the outstanding artist award for experimental fashion design by the BMWKMS.
For more than a decade, the Austrian Fashion Association has been Austria’s leading institution for contemporary fashion design, creating visibility and support for emerging talents. The Austrian Fashion Awards have become the most relevant platform for young designers – with alumni such as Arthur Arbesser, Christoph Rumpf, Florentina Leitner, Martin Niklas Wieser or Petar Petrov shaping the Austrian fashion landscape today.
This year’s international jury – including Elise By Olsen, Francesca Gavin, Kaat Debo, Laura Darmon, M-C Hill and Markus Strasser – reflects the global relevance and interdisciplinary spirit of the awards.
In addition to the award winners, the gala presents collections by designers supported through the Austrian Fashion Association’s funding programs, such as amaaena, GÜÇ, Mussels and Muscles, Alessandro Santi and many more.
“With the Austrian Fashion Awards, we want to send a strong signal: for bold design, for new perspectives – and for a fashion scene that actively shapes change,” says Camille Boyer, Head of the Austrian Fashion Association.
The Austrian Fashion Awards 2025 thus stand not only for recognition, but for vision: a celebration of a new generation of designers who bring responsibility, creativity and attitude to the runway.
