Two Armchairs, Two Personalities, One Dialogue of Opposites
There are pieces of furniture that don’t simply inhabit a room – they define it. They express character, emotion, and presence without words. The Belt and Mac armchairs by cierre1972 are such creations – two distinct interpretations of elegance, speaking in different tones yet harmonising in perfect design rhythm.

Belt – Subtle Seduction
Design: Marco Fumagalli
Delicate yet determined, the Belt armchair embodies refined provocation. Its signature leather belt encircles the soft seat, creating a tactile and visual contrast between the warmth of upholstery and the cool gleam of metal. A 360° swivel mechanism with memory function ensures fluid movement, while each detail reflects craftsmanship and precision.

Elegance that whispers – and lingers.
Mac – The Power of Form
Design: Maurizio Manzoni
Where Belt seduces, Mac asserts. It commands the space with presence yet without dominance – structured, balanced, inviting. A wooden frame with Plexiglas insert supports plush cushioning wrapped in polyurethane foam and microfibre, all enclosed in a matte metal frame available in black, chrome or gold.

Mac is a study in contrasts: geometry and comfort, softness and strength. A statement of sophistication, perfectly at ease in its own balance.
Design in Dialogue
Belt enchants. Mac defines.
Together, they represent the cierre1972 philosophy: elegance as a form of character, not ornamentation.
A vision of interior design where contrast becomes harmony – and craftsmanship becomes art.
