INSPIRATION FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR AN AESTHETIC AND MEANINGFUL LIFESTYLE
The American Gregory Crewdson (*1962, Brooklyn) is one of the most internationally renowned photographers. Since the mid-1980s, Crewdson has been using the backdrop of small American towns and film sets to create technically brilliant and seductively colourful stagings of human loneliness and the abysses of society.
As Head of Design at Wittmann, Alice Wittmann is now responsible for the development of new models from the brief to the presentation of the finished furniture. In this role, the daughter of Ulrike Wittmann and Heinz Hofer-Wittmann will be intensively involved in the model policy of her family company and support the development department in all design processes and in collaboration with designers.
On the occasion of Louis Vuitton's first Voyager show, which took place in Shanghai on 18 April, the Maison is now unveiling its extended collaboration with artist Sun Yitian. Known for her photorealistic paintings of toys and other mass-produced items, she has created an exclusive series that brings the Pre-Fall 2024-Collection to life in a colourful way. The collaboration spans ready-to-wear, leather goods, trunks, accessories and fragrances.
