Pssssst … the 7 secrets of the SECRET SÖLDEN

Walk through the golden entrance of The Secret Sölden and you will find a luxurious retreat with a French touch. The alpine surroundings of the Ötztal is not ignored. In a magical way, the two worlds merge into a cosmopolitan overall concept. What exactly does that mean and what is hidden behind the inconspicuous exterior façade? Seven secrets are revealed here.

  1. THIS OR THAT?

Cosmopolitan or alpine? Anyone checking into The Secret Sölden has the choice. One half of the suites is cosmopolitan in design with its burgundy and grey tones, while the other is inspired by home with lots of wood.

  • 2. DIGITAL CONCIERGE

Every room has an Alexa. The digital voice assistant tells stories about the surroundings, helps with table reservations in the in-house restaurant and is sure to reveal a secret or two.

  • 3. AROUND THE CLOCK

Fear of hunger pangs outside of traditional meal times? Quite justified if you are in a village. At The Secret Sölden, we counteract this with an open bar. Between 3 and 5 pm, finger food and drinks are served in the living room-style LA’LIV restaurant, including a candy bar. From summer, there will also be a snack menu from 1 pm to 5 pm. A 24/7 deli helps with late-night cravings.

  • 4. THE POWER OF SCENT

Of course, there is also a spa area. LE FEEL has a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pool and saunas. A special fragrance ensures a sense of well-being throughout the hotel, reminiscent of summer rain.

  • 5. OUTLOOK

It goes up high – but not to the mountains, but to the 4th floor, where THE VUE Skybar sits enthroned on the hotel. It is glazed all round, including at the top, and offers wallpaper-like views.
Incidentally, truffle popcorn is served with every drink. Santé!

  • 6. ON THE RIGHT TRACK

If you don’t just want to admire the scenic surroundings, but want to experience them first-hand, head to the Bike Republic Sölden on a mountain bike or drive the breathtaking Timmelsjoch towards Merano in a convertible.

  • 7. SPECTACULAR

Or rather: secret number 007, because as a tribute to the James Bond film “Spectre” shot in Sölden, the well-known gun barrel from the intro has been integrated into the hotel’s ceiling lights as a stylistic element.
