Two striking new additions to the Lifestylehotels® community: Badhaus & Lasserhaus
Brixen – South Tyrol’s oldest town, a cultural gem nestled in the Alps, where history and the present coexist. With Badhaus and Lasserhaus, two extraordinary properties now join the Lifestylehotels® community. Both located in the heart of Brixen, both architecturally ambitious – yet each with a distinct identity and voice.
Badhaus Brixen – Breathing Architecture
A hotel built on historic ground – yet entirely reimagined. Designed by the acclaimed architecture firm bergmeisterwolf, Badhaus presents itself as a sculptural composition of clay bricks, copper, fluted glass, and steel, blending confidently into its historic surroundings.
The 21 rooms are quietly elegant – furnished with local ash wood, green quartzite, and fine Italian linen. On the rooftop terrace, tucked between the two volumes, guests catch glimpses of nearby vineyards. Just steps away, the Adler Bridge offers a clear view of the Plose mountain – a symbol of the interplay between city and nature.
The Viertel Bar, located in the hotel’s sister property, brings together regional flavors, signature snacks, and the house’s own Viertel Bier – all in a setting where design is a matter of attitude, not decoration.
A hotel that doesn’t impose – it invites. It doesn’t instruct – it inspires.
Lasserhaus Brixen – Curated by Art
Hidden within the oldest quarter of Brixen – Stufels – lies a second gem: Lasserhaus, a former 15th-century patrician residence, now transformed into a 4-star superior arthotel. More than a hotel, it’s a space where contemporary art meets historical structure.
Inside: 10 individually curated rooms, immersive works by Esther Stocker, Peter Kogler, Petra Polli, and paintings from the Faller Family Collection. Curated by Stefanie Prieth and Rose Bourdon, the hotel unfolds like a gallery in motion. With formats like Lasser Crossing, it becomes a venue for exhibitions, readings, and artist residencies.
In the lounge, guests enjoy breakfast, books, and conversations. Coffee and tea are available anytime, with a sweet afternoon buffet as a daily indulgence. The historic wine cellar awaits future tastings and intimate cultural gatherings.
A place for collectors, free spirits, and travelers who don’t just stay – they engage.
Two Hotels, Two Concepts – One Shared Philosophy
With Badhaus and Lasserhaus, Brixen sets a new tone for contemporary hospitality: aesthetic, thoughtful, bold. Lifestylehotels® welcomes both as part of a community that sees travel not as consumption, but as a cultural experience.
