INSPIRATION FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR AN AESTHETIC AND MEANINGFUL LIFESTYLE

A New Chapter of Viennese Elegance: Miiro Hotel Palais Rudolf Opens Its Doors

Where classic Viennese grace meets contemporary creativity – the new Miiro Palais Rudolf is a dialogue between past and present, architecture and art.

In the heart of Vienna, at Rudolfsplatz 11, the Miiro Palais Rudolf will open on November 17, 2025. This four-star boutique hotel with 64 rooms and suites reinterprets the city’s cultural sophistication with a modern spirit and timeless style.

Design with a Global Signature and a Viennese Soul

The architectural concept by Gabriel Kacerovsky and his Vienna-based studio Archisphere reimagines the elegance of a 19th-century townhouse with contemporary clarity and warmth.
The interior design, created by James Thurstan Waterworth of Thurstan Studio London, adds an international sensibility grounded in craftsmanship and authenticity.

Together, they have designed a hotel that balances nostalgia and modernity, sophistication and ease.

“The Palais Rudolf was conceived as a living place, not a monument,” says Kacerovsky. “Every proportion, every light, every texture was chosen to capture Vienna’s poetic duality – its quiet elegance and creative boldness.”

Redefining Viennese Elegance

Each room – including two suites with private balconies – evokes the spirit of a Viennese residence: parquet floors, vintage furniture, and a warm, natural palette.

Views open onto Rudolfspark or the green inner courtyard, creating an intimate dialogue between inside and out.

The public spaces take inspiration from Vienna’s café culture and brasseries – serene by day, atmospheric by night. It’s a place where history is not staged but lived anew.

Comfort & Contemporary Well-Being

Beyond aesthetics, Miiro Palais Rudolf focuses on the art of slowing down.
A boutique gym and the signature Refresh Room offer balance and tranquillity for travellers arriving early or departing late – an understated expression of thoughtful hospitality.

General Manager Dirk-Jan Doek, who brings over 20 years of international experience, summarises the philosophy:

“We aim to connect classic hospitality with modern creativity – to create something deeply human, where design, art, and gastronomy bring people together.”

Art at Palais Rudolf

Art plays a central role in the hotel’s identity.
Works by leading Austrian artists – including Maria Lassnig, Peter Sengl, Jürgen Messensee, Max Weiler, Rudolf Hradil, and Christian Ludwig Attersee – enrich the interiors and transform the hotel into a living gallery.
Each piece reflects Vienna’s creative legacy and contemporary pulse.

A New Meeting Point of Viennese Culture

The Miiro Palais Rudolf marks a new generation of design-driven boutique hotels: thoughtful, cultured, and effortlessly elegant – an invitation to experience Vienna anew.
