Softer, wider, freer: for Fall/Winter 2026/27, MYTHS translates traditional tailoring into a wardrobe that no longer needs to choose between formal and casual. Across womenswear and menswear, fluid silhouettes, distinctive materials and a new understanding of the suit define the season.
The suit has lost its rigidity. And perhaps that is precisely where its new strength lies. At MYTHS, tailoring for Fall/Winter 2026/27 is not abandoned but liberated from its old rules. Jackets and trousers become individual building blocks, overshirts take on the role of blazers, and generous proportions introduce movement into a traditionally precise world.
It is an evolution that runs through both the women’s and men’s collections – expressed differently, yet united by the same attitude: clothes no longer need to define the occasion they belong to. Instead, they should move effortlessly with the person wearing them.
The Suit Becomes a System
This idea is particularly evident in menswear. The trousers for which MYTHS has become known remain the starting point, but silhouettes become more relaxed and voluminous. Wide fits are joined by the return of the carrot pant, defined by a wider leg and cropped length.
The suit itself is reconsidered. Five overshirts and five trousers made from identical fabric qualities can be freely combined, transforming the conventional ensemble into a modular system somewhere between traditional tailoring and contemporary casualwear.
Womenswear continues this newfound freedom. Palazzo trousers, cuffed culottes and slim flared silhouettes meet overshirts in denim and Cotton Bull. Even the pyjama becomes part of this new understanding of elegance: printed viscose ensembles with a subtle vintage character and tonal prints move naturally between daywear and evening dressing.
Materials with a Memory
At MYTHS, surfaces are almost as important as silhouettes. Garment dyeing, piece dyeing, yarn dyeing, vintage washes and frosted washes give fabrics depth, allowing garments to feel less factory-new and more as though they have already developed a personality of their own.
The womenswear collection ranges from cotton-modal blends and cashmere flannel to modal velvet and combinations of wool and Cordura.
In menswear, yarn-dyed flannels with cashmere and herringbone fabrics blending wool, silk and cashmere meet the brand’s characteristic Combat Wool, designed to combine wrinkle resistance, temperature regulation, durability and easy care with a refined appearance.
Denim, too, leaves familiar territory. Denim flannel, herringbone denim made from organic yarns and specially developed finishes move the traditionally rugged material closer to the world of tailoring. In womenswear, indigo-lock washes and yarn-dyed velvets create surprisingly sophisticated surfaces.
Between History and the Present
Mélange grey, dark brown and Bordeaux, complemented by cooler shades such as mastic and taupe, give the menswear collection a quiet, autumnal depth. Yet FW26/27 ultimately tells a story that goes beyond individual colours or pieces. It reflects a changing idea of how we want to dress.
MYTHS positions itself between two worlds: the precision of traditional tailoring and the contemporary desire for freedom, comfort and individuality. Tradition does not need to disappear in the process. It simply needs to become flexible enough to arrive in the present.
