INSPIRATION FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR AN AESTHETIC AND MEANINGFUL LIFESTYLE

Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2026: Super Nature – When Fashion Becomes Landscape

Between Nature, Technology and a New Folklore

With the Fall/Winter 2026 collection „Super Nature“ , Nicolas Ghesquièrecreates a visionary landscape of clothing for Louis Vuitton. Mountains, forests and vast horizons are not merely a source of inspiration – they become a guiding design principle.

Fashion emerges here in dialogue with climate, environment and movement. Clothing reflects a life lived outdoors, shaped by the need for protection, endurance and freedom. The result is a collection that does not imitate nature but sublimates it – transforming landscape, memory and cultural heritage into contemporary fashion.

Clothing as Topography

The silhouettes evoke garments shaped by life close to nature – reminiscent of traditional attire that reflects belonging and history. Yet rather than nostalgia, the collection proposes a new folklore for the digital present.

Materials tell stories of landscapes:

  • Reinterpreted animalier patterns on canvas and denim
  • Floral leather appliqués resembling imagined botanical forms
  • Textured leather surfaces recalling wood, bark or stone

Fabrics become collages that wrap around the body like geographic maps. Each seam and texture feels like a fragment of a larger terrain – shaped by memories, movement and lived experience.ung.

Technology Meets Craft

A central theme of the collection is the dialogue between cutting-edge technology and traditional savoir-faire.

Experimental techniques create new materials:

  • 3D-printed buttons reminiscent of minerals
  • Heels shaped like antlers
  • Vegan furs introducing new tactile textures
  • Leather treated to replicate the tactile qualities of wood

These transformations feel almost surreal – as if nature itself were reborn through technology. It is precisely this tension between craftsmanship, innovation and imagination that defines the collection.ation.

Travel Companions for a New World

As a Maison rooted in the art of travel trunks, Louis Vuitton approaches accessories as companions of movement and exploration.

A notable return is the Noé Bag, revived in its original proportions and colors from 1932. It feels like a journey through time – a portable home for modern explorers.

Jewelry pieces echo the unmistakable language of the Maison’s trunks:

  • Earrings
  • A ring
  • A necklace

Each adorned with the signature nail heads of Louis Vuitton trunks, paying homage to the heritage of the House. Inspiration also draws from a reinterpretation of works by the artist and photographer Man Ray.

A Futuristic Landscape at the Louvre

The show took place in the Cour Carrée of the Musée du Louvre, where production designer Jeremy Hindle created an abstract environment – a kind of neo-nature, seen through the prism of tomorrow.

Blending interior and exterior, the scenography transforms the movement of the models into a floating pastoral tableau. The setting feels both archaic and futuristic – a science-fiction fable about fashion and nature.

Fashion as an Echo of the World

With Super Nature, Nicolas Ghesquière demonstrates that fashion is more than clothing – it is a reflection of our relationship with the world.

The collection bridges past and future, craftsmanship and technology, nature and imagination. It tells a story of movement, exploration and the human desire for connection – with landscapes, cultures and ourselves.
