As a timeless feminine icon, the CAPUCINES symbolises the quintessence of Louis Vuitton, its quest for excellence, creativity and craftsmanship.

For the 2021 summer season, LOUIS VUITTON gets Santo Domingo in front of the lens for the Maison Lauren’s latest Capucines campaign. Named after the very first LOUIS VUITTON store, which opened in 1854 on Rue Neuve-des-Capucines in Paris, the Capucines established itself as one of the maison’s most iconic styles. This summer, the bag appears in three sizes – Mini, BB and MM – to meet the different needs of everyday life.

Crafted in shades that are at once appealing, soft and feminine, these seven Capucines convey very different attitudes. With a classic yet innovative style, the two permanent models – Magnolia and Snow – exude luminous elegance and are offered in sizes MM and BB respectively.

The Capucines with a smooth, bunched up calfskin handle is a real treat, recalling the retro look of a hair scrunchie. This model illustrates the Maison’s perfect mastery in combining playfulness and craftsmanship. Available in storm blue for the BB version, or a striking yellow that really pops for the Mini version.

More daring aficionados will love the Capucines in wild and irresistible black complete with a twill handle and leopard-print pattern. They may also decide to yield to the geometric and architectural lines of the eye-catching collector’s model, produced in collaboration with Fornasetti – an Italian design workshop founded by Piero Fornasetti. In the evening, femininity becomes understated and precious, enhanced by the reflections of the LV signature in abalone shell on the Capucines Brume.
