INSPIRATION FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR AN AESTHETIC AND MEANINGFUL LIFESTYLE

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026: Intimacy as an Art of Living

In Praise of Intimacy as an Art de Vivre – presented at the Musée du Louvre in the former summer apartments of Anne of Austria, Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2026 collection celebrates the private sphere as the ultimate luxury.

At the Musée du Louvre, in the former summer apartments of Anne of Austria, Queen of France, Louis Vuitton unveils the Spring-Summer 2026 collection. A celebration of intimacy and the freedom of personal expression.

Louis Vuitton’s latest collection is a hymn to intimacy – considered the ultimate luxury and an Art de Vivre. Fashion here transcends its materiality, becoming a statement of inner being.

The stage: the summer residence of Anne of Austria, mother of Louis XIV, within the Louvre. A historical space reimagined as a contemporary apartment by scenographer and designer Marie-Anne Derville. The interiors weave together centuries of French taste: 18th-century furniture by Georges Jacob, 1930s Art Deco pieces by Michel Dufet, ceramics by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, works by artist Robert Wilson, and Derville’s own designs.

The collection itself speaks of stylistic liberation: garments that unfold their true power in the privacy of the home, acting as a manifesto of individuality. Intimacy becomes both confession and quiet revolution. The ultimate luxury: dressing for oneself.

The presentation resonates with music composed by Tanguy Destable, reprising lyrics from David Byrne’s This Must Be the Place, read by Cate Blanchett. A poetic soundscape bridging past and present.
