NEW OUTDOOR SEASON. NEW MENU. NEW CHEF. Sounds good? “Ziizuu”, which opened in December 2023, is starting its first outdoor season with a brand new terrace from 2 May. New on board: chef and culinary mastermind Florian Oswald, whose new menu invites you to enjoy culinary delights with immediate effect.

Inspired by the magic of the moment, the One Life Group’s state-of-the-art location „Ziizuu“ is a hideaway for the mind and palate. Here you can enjoy a cosmopolitan fine dining experience in the centre of the city. Inspired by the metropolises of this world, with an out-of-the-box interior, atmospheric light installations, green plants, smooth DJ beats and Euro-Asian fusion cuisine, Ziizuu is the hip #placetobe for summer nights in Vienna’s city centre.

In Florian Oswald, Ziizuu is bringing a culinary visionary on board from spring 2024 who has already immersed himself in cuisines, spices and flavours all over the world. On the “Princesse de Provence” cruise ship through Lyon, by car through Tehran and Esfahan and as a Flying Chef on board high above the clouds – New York, Sydney, Singapore, Mauritius and Bangkok are just some of the stops on his culinary journey. Florian Oswald has also taken his customers on culinary flights of fancy as a private chef and has already made a name for himself.

“My philosophy as a chef is based on the credo of having done and, above all, tasted everything once. Life has shaped me in nature, where I have learnt to appreciate the origin of products. I realise that nothing can be taken for granted and that careful handling of all kinds of ingredients is invaluable,” says Florian Oswald about his vocation.

Previously at Heu & Gabel, Restaurant Verde and DOTS, chef Florian Oswald is bringing a breath of fresh culinary air from all over the world to Ziizuu with the new menu.


At Ziizuu light, Euro-Asian fusion cuisine is at the centre of the extraordinary dining experience.

Florian Oswald takes the palate on a culinary journey with his tempting selection of starters. The mussels in white wine are wrapped in a tantalising tomato broth, refined with a pinch of garlic and fresh herbs. The gyoza, filled with paprika chicken, are rounded off with a rich paprika cream sauce and herb dumplings from the board. Truffle burrata, wrapped in a crispy panko coating, served on a creamy spinach cream and accompanied by shiso pesto, unfolds a play of flavours topped with caramelised white asparagus.

The main courses at Ziizuu also reflect Florian Oswald’s refined fine dining cuisine.

The grilled tuna steak is wrapped in a crispy sesame coating and accompanied by an exciting wasabi mashed potato and a refreshing mango salsa. Garnished with tender baby carrots, this dish combines maritime flavours with an exotic touch. The creamy risotto is rounded off in an exciting way with a beetroot sauce and topped with crunchy macadamia nuts and a hint of truffle and onion miso.

For those looking for something special, the grilled octopus is an irresistible temptation. Flavoured with Chinese garlic and the refreshing aroma of Amalfi lemons, it lies on a bed of beluga lentils, surrounded by an abundance of herbs and delicate hearts of lettuce. A true work of art on the plate is the mille feuille of melanzane and shiitake mushrooms, alongside a tantalising tomato and yuzu ragout and garnished with affila cress.

These main courses are not only a feast for the eyes, but also Florian Oswald’s homage to the art of culinary creation. Fine caviar, truffle fries and summery soups round off the menu.

For dessert, the kitchen at Ziizuu presents exquisite fusions of flavours and textures. The rhubarb spot on delicate shortcrust pastry, accompanied by a delicious yoghurt sauce, is an ode to the freshness of summer and combines sweet and sour flavours. Another highlight is the tira ziizuu with espresso sauce – a sophisticated interpretation of the classic Italian dessert. The Thai fruit salad, served with a refreshing fruit sorbet, adds an exotic touch. The variety of exotic fruits combine to create an artful arrangement.

For sushi lovers: From sashimi and flamed nigri to gunkan, the sushi menu at Ziizuu offers an impressive variety of Asian sushi art.


Fancy drinks, creative cocktails and champagne: Ziizuu presents a state-of-the-art Drinks menu that promises an extraordinary variety of highballs and cocktails alongside fine champagne, wine and spirits. Alongside creations such as “Ziizuulicious”, with Ketel One Vodka, passion fruit, mango, raspberry, lemon & vanilla and “Midnightin Marocco” with Don Julio Tequila Blanco, Crème de Violette, Maraschino Liquer, lime and almond syrup, Ziizuu also presents four exclusive Diamond Cocktails, such as the “Millionaire’s Mule”, with Hendrick’s Gin, ginger, lime, sugar syrup and Moët & Chandon.

Those who prefer non-alcoholic drinks will be delighted by the wide range of mocktails on offer, such as the “Pink London Classic”, with Rick Free Non Alcoholic Gin, cranberry juice and tonic, or the “Organics Orange Kiss” with Organics Black Orange, orange juice, grapefruit juice, elderflower syrup and lemon.

Life is a party: Ziizuu’s new outdoor terrace opens on 2 May 2024 and invites you to a restaurant and bar experience with DJ music and live artists.
