Gradonna**S Mountain Resort, East Tyrol / Kals am Großglockner
Alpine luxury and the power of nature merge at breathtaking altitude into a harmonious experience of activity, wellness, and art.

When the majestic peaks of the Hohe Tauern are reflected in the windows of the Gradonna Mountain Resort, it almost feels like standing in front of a work of art—one created through the interplay of nature and human vision.
It is a subtle indication of what awaits at the Gradonna Mountain Resort at the foot of Großglockner: a curated selection of artworks that bring the magic and strength of the alpine world indoors. Displayed in a setting that naturally enhances their impact.
Join us for a small yet refined vernissage featuring seven selected works:

LOIS SALCHER
What emotions are triggered by certain fields of color—and conversely, which colors are capable of expressing specific feelings?
The artist from Lienz thinks and paints in color spaces where emotion and surface merge into one.

HELENE MARIA SCHORN
From her childhood home, she had a direct view of the Hohe Tauern mountains. It was therefore only natural for her to explore these landscapes artistically.
Through a transformed palette knife technique and an atmospheric choice of colors, her works radiate a unique intensity.

PETER NIEDERTSCHEIDER
Bathing culture dates back to ancient times—a tradition also celebrated at Gradonna.
Sculptures made of Swiss stone pine, artfully stacked and inspired by classical nudes, welcome guests in the entrance area—a subtle reference to the wellness space.

BIRGIT SCHRÖTTNER-THURNER
