LARS NYSØM: New Brand Campaign and Visual Statement

Lars Nysom

LARS NYSØM, the design label for everyday essentials, launches an extensive brand campaign with which the brand repositions itself visually. In cooperation with the agency Heroes & Heroines, photographer Patrick Langwallner and videographer David Wedenig and under the creative direction of Lisa Koestl, a high-quality series of images was created that underlines the image of the brand and conveys it succinctly to future partners and customers. The campaign shoot took place in the showrooms of the Vienna Formdepot and was accompanied by stylist Barbara Zach and hair & makeup artist Karla Goldoni.

With the production of the new brand campaign, the founders, Patrick Fischer and Sebastian Fritz, aim to present the brand philosophy of LARS NYSØM within the framework of an aesthetic-emotional storytelling around their product worlds. The label has the design ambition to transform everyday objects such as drinking bottles, spice mills or bread boxes into decorative interior essentials and fashionable accessories. The new campaign stages the label’s range in outstanding minimalist and sensual subjects.

Thanks to the excellent work of the entire production team, we have succeeded in visually portraying our design vision in striking scenes, some of which are also tongue-in-cheek. Our brand stands for minimalist, shapely design in everyday life. This is exactly what the campaign expresses in a great way.

For the campaign, we worked with photographer Patrick Langwallner and videographer David Wedenig. Both creatives are particularly known for a clear style and expressive visual language. Their work complemented the creative central idea of the brand campaign. About the collaboration with the photographer duo, Sebastian Fritz says:

Patrick and David have already accompanied us on past productions and have proven their sense of aesthetics. The two are an excellent team, have an eye for detail and exude positive energy on set. All this is also reflected in the campaign subjects.

With the Viennese Formdepot, which is known as a presentation space for unique interior design brands and high-quality craftsmanship, the right location for the photo shoot was found. In the premises of the Formdepot, all areas of life where LARS NYSØM products can be found were attractively staged. “The Formdepot is a very special place for people with an affinity for design. design and craftsmanship at the highest level. For us, it was the ideal shooting location to stage the minimalist design claim of our brand in a striking, high-quality and varied way.” Patrick Fischer

Hair & Makeup Artist Karla Goldoni and Stylist Barbara Zach were collaborated for the appropriate styling of the testimonials. Zach created fashionable as well as subtle looks with the latest collection pieces of the Viennese concept store THE TREASURY, which underlined the style of the brand.

The new brand campaign was presented to a broad and design-interested public for the first time in the course of the trade fair presence at Design District 2022, which took place from 6 to 9 October in the Vienna Hofburg. As with the campaign shoot, the trade fair concept was designed and implemented together with Lisa Koestl (Heroes & Heroines). The stand, designed in the style of the brand philosophy, invited visitors to convince themselves of the quality of the products and to get in direct contact with the two founders.

“The Design District will remain a special memory for us as the first trade fair at which we were represented. The feedback from the visitors was very positive throughout, which of course made us very happy. It was particularly nice for us to see how the individual elements that make up our brand were able to mesh together at the fair – from the design of our stand to the feel of our products. Many exciting ideas for new product developments and cooperations with concept stores emerged from the discussions. For us, the Design District was a successful start to offering our product range in stationary retail in the future and we look forward to further exchanges with potential partners,” say the founders of LARS NYSØM about their participation in the Design District.
