AUTUMN NOVELTIES 2023: MODERN CLASSICS IN SOOTHING SHADES

In a fast-paced society in which it is often a case of “higher, faster and further”, the Danish interior brand SOFACOMPANY would like to encourage people to pause more often and reflect on their own home as a source of peace and inspiration. In particular, pieces of furniture characterised by a clear, timeless design provide the necessary space for the mind and body to recharge their batteries without distraction.

The new autumn collection from SOFACOMPANY includes such classic pieces, which calm with subtle colour tones and straightforward shapes, outlast every trend and, thanks to high-quality materials, give much longer pleasure than a trendy design that has to be replaced after just a few months. SOFACOMPANY calls this conscious decision in favour of a long-lasting classic that becomes a constant companion and a reliable constant in life “aesthetic sustainability” – after all, the environment is also pleased when pieces of furniture are considered a long-term purchase.

Douglas

The cosy and timeless DOUGLAS series is considered a classic within the SOFACOMPANY family. Available in many different versions from the 3-seater to the corner sofa and the 4-seater, the minimalist Scandinavian design of the sofa collection with high-quality wooden legs and straight-lined upholstery has enjoyed great popularity for many years. For the coming season, SOFACOMPANY is wrapping the series in the olive green, soft and tactilely stimulating corduroy fabric Free Sage made from 100% recycled polyester. It is not only the material that is sustainable, but also the changeable cover, which can be easily replaced or washed if it no longer suits you or shows signs of wear.

ASTHA

The ASTHA series comprises similarly popular classics: cut slightly narrower, the upholstered furniture has a more elegant expression than DOUGLAS, which can be harmoniously integrated into any interior style from modern to classic. Thanks to a new cover, the 2-seater and 3-seater ASTHA sofa now look even more stylish – the sand-coloured, high-quality Sasano Clay fabric is woven from linen, viscose and a mixture of recycled and new polyester, giving it particularly robust properties and a natural elegant look at the same time. As with all SOFACOMPANY fabrics made from recycled polyester, the recycled content is certified according to GRS and Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

ELINOR

Retro vibes that never go out of fashion are once again conveyed by the rounded design of the popular ELINOR 3-seater sofa, which is now launched in the grey-green textile Planet Grey Green made of 36% recycled polyester. Put your feet up and forget all stress – the curved armrests embrace you like a gentle hug and invite you to relax and enjoy some me-time. The retro look is further accentuated by the slender, elegant oak legs, which contrast beautifully with the soft, voluminous upholstery.

ENZO & HADLEY

ENZO armchair and HADLEY daybed are two pieces of furniture in the Scandinavian design aesthetic of the 1950s. Both pieces of furniture are characterised by simple, clean lines and high-quality, natural materials such as soaped oak wood and elegant paper cords. The cosy upholstered cushions of armchair ENZO are now launched in a timeless bouclé quality in a classic cream shade. Daybed HADLEY, on the other hand, will be upholstered in exclusive Italian semi-aniline leather in a warm cappuccino shade for the coming season, which ensures additional durability. The cushions of Daybed HADLEY can also be flexibly positioned to transform the small sofa into a cosy bed in no time at all.

“With its reference to the Scandinavian design aesthetics of the 1950s, the Daybed
HADLEY is a classic example of durable and multifunctional design at its best.
most beautiful form.”
