Tucked away in the serene residential district of Lärkstaden yet close to Stockholm’s vibrant city life, Ett Hem stands out not as a traditional hotel but as a home away from home. Spread across three beautifully restored early 20th-century townhouses, the hotel features just 22 uniquely designed rooms and suites – each furnished with a personal touch, warm hues, and carefully selected details.

The Vision: Personal, Not Corporate

At the heart of Ett Hem is its founder Jeanette Mix, whose ambition was to create not another luxury hotel, but a welcoming home with soul. The name itself – Ett Hem, Swedish for “a home” – encapsulates this philosophy: guests should feel like friends visiting a warm and lived-in space, not customers passing through.

To bring this vision to life, Mix collaborated with acclaimed British designer Ilse Crawford, creating interiors that marry Scandinavian simplicity with tactile comfort and timeless elegance.
