With the launch of La Beauté, Louis Vuitton embarks on a new journey – one that celebrates beauty not just as appearance, but as identity, emotion and objet d’art. The Maison introduces a carefully curated make-up line designed as collector’s items, led by the striking LV Ombres eyeshadow palettes.
Eyes That Speak Volumes
Under the motto “Eyes that speak volumes”, the focus is clearly on the gaze: The LV Ombres feature eight refined colour harmonies – each composed of three wearable shades and one unexpected twist. The palettes carry names like Monogram Rouge, Beige Memento or Nude Mirage, inspired by the iconic tones and textures of the LV universe.
Science Meets Sensuality
The formulation blends high-performance technology with luxurious texture:
- LV Pigment Originals: for intense, saturated colour
- Light-Up Technology: for a luminous, reflective finish
- Plant-derived Squalane: for a soft, second-skin feel and care
The result: colour that melts into the skin – more glow, less make-up.
Pat McGrath x Louis Vuitton
The creative direction of La Beauté has been entrusted to none other than Dame Pat McGrath, one of the most influential make-up artists in the world. The collection launches on 20 August in China, followed by a digital global launch on 25 August.
“The eyeshadows really set the tone for La Beauté Louis Vuitton – they are bold, intentional, and made to be remembered.”
– Dame Pat McGrath
Beauty as Empowerment & Object of Desire
All products, including lipsticks, balms and eyeshadows, are housed in golden, sculptural objets d’art – designed to be kept forever. Beauty becomes ritual, luxury becomes personal, and make-up becomes a statement piece.
Louis Vuitton presents beauty as a lifestyle – a form of expression, artistry and empowerment.
