Drive your Dream in Maria Alm, Hotel SEPP // Lifestylehotels

At the Airstream on the roof of the alpine boutique hotel, it’s hardly surprising that a sea lion can now also be found here at SEPP. Unlike the caravan from 1976, the BYD model named Sealion 7 is a new classic. It’s available on the ground floor for rent for panoramic drives starting at the foot of the Hochkönig.

Engine on

At the Lifestylehotels™ member SEPP, people are already used to visitors whose shared passion is exploring the area by motorized vehicle. Maria Alm and the two passes of the Hochkönigstraße are popular destinations for convertibles, youngtimers and classic cars, or even Harleys — as impressively experienced during the SEPP Classics Days (September 19 & 20, 2025).

Electric motor on

But who says you can’t explore these routes with an electric motor? On the contrary: a drive in the BYD Sealion 7 is especially quiet — perfect for enjoying the landscape and picturesque views even more intensely. When it comes to comfort, the spacious interior also impresses: all seats are heated and ventilated. And thanks to the optional panoramic glass roof, you can experience the surroundings in all their beauty.

A matter of perspective

A particularly worthwhile viewpoint is the Dientner Sattel, which shows itself at its most impressive especially at sunset. Then the Hochkönig shines in majestic evening red. Whether you reach this scenery via the Großglockner High Alpine Road or through the idyllic Raurisertal is entirely up to your personal preference. And how about a trip to the turquoise Jägersee near Kleinarl, a detour to Kitzbühel with a summit hike to the Kitzbüheler Horn, or a visit to the largest ice cave in the world in Werfen?

Tradition and modernity

While the routes may remain classically calm, there’s no need to compromise on contemporary comfort when it comes to the driving experience. After all, the BYD Sealion 7 is a sporty SUV that turns heads with its futuristic design and impresses on the inside with advanced amenities and modern technology.

Just like at Hotel SEPP, where tradition and modernity happily blend with a wink, following BYD’s motto (Build Your Dream) of making dreams come true.

It’s gonna be exsepptional — that’s our motto at SEPP. Build your dreams perfectly complements our slogan — because we’re not quite at the finish line yet. Three special suites are still missing, and this category is very popular. Almost as much as our extraordinary caravan on the roof or the infinity pool. With SEPP — named after our son — we’ve already fulfilled a dream: a small, refined boutique hotel with a unique sense for luxury. Luxury with a twist.
