LAPALMA at Stockholm Furniture Fair 7 -11 February 2023

Lapalma has created a collection of flexible furniture with a striking design, combining the know-how of the finest craftsmanship with the efficiency of industry to make contemporary living spaces more fluid and convivial.

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the company is presenting the collection by showcasing the living spaces we use every day. Spaces where we work, meet up with others and spend our time on a daily basis. Such hybrid contexts are skilfully divided by the versatile and functional JAZZ bookcase designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, which is ideal for defining an area without taking away space. Its seemingly random shapes conceal a rigorous compositional harmony, with slanted cylindrical elements acting as buttresses and guaranteeing the sturdiness of the structure. Wall-mounted or in the middle of the room, it meets the most varied needs in the home and in contract environments.

At the Fair, in addition to brand’s products that have now become iconic –such as the ADD seating system and PLUS sofa designed by Francesco Rota –and a selection of tables, stools and accessories from the vast collection, Lapalmais showcasing some of its latest solutions that combine the Nordic spirit with Made in Italy design.

KISAT

Designed by Hee Welling, reinterprets the classic school chair with a contemporary twist. Designed to accommodate the most diverse needs in contract and residential environments, this chair impresses with its unexpected graphic detail: the die-cast aluminium frame surrounds the back and then descends, like a continuous line, to become the base.

SEELA

The chair designed by Antti Kotilainenis instead presented in a new tub version. More enveloping and comfortable, this version meets the ever-increasing demand in the contract sector for solutions featuring soft and pleasantly embracing lines. Extremely versatile it is ideal around a meeting table, as a guest chair and as an armchair in the coffee bars of companies or professional studios. The version on castors is particularly suitable for co-working environments. And entirely upholstered, it is even more comfortable and elegant.

WING

The most recent products presented in Stockholm include the Wing Tiplounge chair, designed by Anderssen & Voll. With its extraordinarily original design and comfortable embrace, it welcomes visitors to the Furniture Fair, ready to provide a moment of sheer relaxation.

About Lapalma

For forty years, the company has been producing furniture for the home and for the contract sector, achieving prestigious national and international acclaim thanks to the consistent and constant pursuit of high-quality materials, workmanship and finishes. Over the years, using “bare” handcrafted materials and all-Italian production have guaranteed reliability, quality and customer care, features that are part of Lapalma’s DNA.

The offer is complemented with the development of products that, while maintaining high formal and production quality, are positioned in a more attractive and competitive price band. Research is carried out into materials for upholstery (hide, leather and eco-leather) and into textiles, padding or foamed elements, included in new projects and in some ongoing projects.

For some time, Lapalma has been working with internationally renowned designers, establishing long-lasting valuable partnerships. In the future, the company intends, on the one hand, to provide continuity and loyalty to some of these partnerships and, on the other hand, to introduce new names that have shown a potential affinity with the brand in terms of sensitivity, professionalism and adaptability.
