The Beauty of Diversity moves in the field of tension between an established understanding of art and its renewal. The exhibition unfolds its persuasive power in the juxtaposition of renowned artists who have always wanted to strain the canon and yet have become canonised, and new discoveries as well as those who irritate viewing habits, swim against the tide, shake the foundations of high culture, break the norm and thus establish the aesthetics of diversity.

Schloss Hollenegg for Design is pleased to announce its ninth annual design exhibition: WOOD LAND. The exhibition focuses on the forest and its most important resource – wood. The show demonstrates various techniques for processing wood and imparts knowledge about different tree species and wood essences. Each object on display also provides an opportunity to discuss topics such as global warming, forest management and sustainable wood production.

This fall, the company proudly presented one of the world’s first collections of bags and backpacks made primarily from recycled textiles. Iwan Baan is considered one of the most important photographers of architecture and the built environment. In impressive images, he documents the growth of global megacities as well as traditional or informal buildings and the works of well-known contemporary architects, including Rem Koolhaas, Herzog & de Meuron, Kazuyo Sejima and Tatiana Bilbao. Perched high above Lake Garda, on the hill of Albisano, is Villa Maya, the new project from the heart of MEISSL-Architects. For a long time now, the village of Albisano has been known for its charming flair, its enchanting narrow streets and its spectacular views, but it is only since spring 2023 that it has also been allowed to call itself home to a bright, elegant apartment building.

ALBERTINA MODERN’s major fall exhibition is dedicated to outstanding artists from both countries. However, it does not focus on the long history that connects us, but allows important collection positions of the ALBERTINA to enter into an exciting dialogue in a direct juxtaposition – for example Maria Lassnig with Georg Baselitz, Arnulf Rainer with Gerhard Richter, Franz West with Sigmar Polke.

Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery announced the opening of its new sculpture garden with a series of monumental sculptures by Belgian contemporary artist Arne Quinze. A series of large-scale sculptures, curated by Berlin-based art consultant Reiner Opoku, offer an enchanting fusion of contemporary sculpture and rural nature, bringing new colours and light to the property.

Alvisi Kirimoto designs the setting of the great exhibition “Rivoluzione Vedova”, devised and designed by the Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova and co-produced with the M9-Museum of the 20th Century.
