Iwan Baan is considered one of the most important photographers of architecture and the built environment. In impressive images, he documents the growth of global megacities as well as traditional or informal buildings and the works of well-known contemporary architects, including Rem Koolhaas, Herzog & de Meuron, Kazuyo Sejima and Tatiana Bilbao. October 2023 – Cambodia’s former royal residence Amansara, which once housed King Sihanouk’s diplomats and aristocrats, will reopen on October 1, 2023 after a royal renovation.
